Sculptures can be viewed from all sides, top and bottom, known as a sculpture in the round; or, from a portion of the form, known as a relief sculpture. These works can be carved (subtractive), assembled from a variety of materials, or built up  in layers (additive).  They can even be repurposed from parts of objects. These works can be made from metal, wood, clay, paper, glass, plastic, fiber or a combination.   Below is a sampling of recent works that Mary Catherine Watson has created for commission, exhibition or juried shows.
